- El ADR es un acuerdo internacional europeo para el tansporte de mercancías peligrosas por carretera. Se firmó en Ginebra el 30 de septiembre de 1957. Además de la mayoría de los países europeos, existen otros países asiáticos y del norte de África que también han suscrito este acuerdo. La última revisión publicada de dicho acuerdo entrará en vigor en el año 2005; están previstas revisiones bianuales.
